PSN is almost identical to the XBOX online except the big difference is the cost.
You have free access to demos, and themes, wallpapers and game content. Also if a game has an online component, it is free to play online.
The playstation store is where you download demos etc, some of the developers charge for extra content, like the COD4 map pack was 14.95. And you can buy full games online and here is the best bit.. you can download that game 5 times.. so 4 other users can share the cost of a game/expansion etc.
The same goes for the PSP games available to download from there.
I was going to get a years subscription to MSlive for my kids for his birthday (he owns a 360) just so i could play team fortress online, but he is talking about selling it so will hold off.

Any one else here played Killzone 2?..I have played a bit on online and one of the first missions..but it is fucking awesome..way better than fear 2

Might have to go pick that one up. Just got Hawx the other day. A little bit of a let down really. A bit too simple for my likings.

Yeh I bought Killzone 2 a few weeks ago, single player missions are pretty tough, I'm pretty near the end of the campaign though, on veteran. Haven't tried multi yet, my skillz on the dual analog are kinda lacking and I don't want to get wtfpwned every time I respawn. Plus the 12gb tel$tra plan we're on here gets burned through pretty fast.
